JMFG is independent in every aspect of its business.

The firm is entirely owned by the staff and directors of the company.  We have no external affiliations or financial relationships with any third party.  This ensures that any advice we provide is independent and driven only by what is in the best interests of our clients.

All client portfolios are individually managed accounts.  This ensures that our clients have complete flexibility as to how they want their assets structured in terms of risk profile, tax status, ethical screens, discretionary or non-discretionary management.

Whether you wish to be involved in the day-to-day decision making or not, you can choose.

At JMFG you have the flexibility to appoint us as your discretionary adviser (where we make investment decisions on your behalf but within agreed guidelines) or as your non-discretionary adviser (where you participate in each investment decision).  Where you have more than one portfolio, you may choose to adopt both options.  The benefit we bring to you is the flexibility of choice.

JMFG was established in 1991.  The original team still manage client portfolios, ensuring that the investment process which has created the track record since inception can be implemented in the future.

At JMFG we recognise that our clients have real, not relative liabilities, whether they be school fees, pension payments or general living expenses.  Real liabilities require post tax/gross of franking rebate dollars to pay for them, hence our focus on managing each client’s portfolio in the most tax efficient manner for them.

Managing client portfolios in this manner is not just about installing sophisticated systems, it is a commitment which requires a dedicated/specific approach and understanding to each investment decision.
