Board of Directors

Olaf O'Duill - Chairman.
Olaf is currently a director of Envestra Limited. He was previously the Inaugural Chairman of the National Electricity Market Management Company Limited (NEMMCO), Chairman of the Southern Healthcare Network, Tower Limited and Amrad Corporation Limited. His corporate career was in Banking and Investment Banking in Australia and overseas. Olaf joined JMFG as an independent Director on 17 August 2004, before becoming Chairman in 2010.

Stephen James - Managing Director.
Stephen has a Science degree from The University of Melbourne and has over 20 years’ experience in various aspects of stockbroking. He began his career with Roach Tilley Grice as an operator on the trading floor, became an adviser at Bell Buckle (now Bell Potter) and then worked in the private client division with Merrill Lynch/McIntosh, becoming a vice president. In addition to his role as Managing Director, Stephen is also a Senior Adviser and is responsible for building up the Equity Advisory Team. Stephen joined JMFG in 1999 and was appointed Managing Director in 2010.

Anthony Walsh - Compliance Manager.
An Arts and Law (University of New South Wales) graduate, Anthony has been an industry regulator (the Australian Securities and Investments Commission) and worked in legal and compliance for Perpetual Funds Management. He was also a compliance manager for Westpac. He has worked with JMFG since 2002.

Brad Yates - Chief Financial Officer.
A professional member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, Brad graduated from Deakin University. His broad experience ranges from investment accounting with Raiffeisen Bank London, Kleinwort Benson, Guernsey and ANZ (Melbourne) to assistant accounting manager for Edinburgh’s Scottish Life. Brad joined JMFG in 2009.

Lorna Sevenson - Dealer’s Assistant.
Lorna has over 30 years’ experience in stockbroking houses as a clerk and assistant. Before she worked for Roach Ward Guest (now Merrill Lynch) she was in the broker settlement agents’ office (Share Broker Services Ltd). Lorna has also been float coordinator for new IPOs and a dealing room assistant. She brings extensive experience to JMFG managing client correspondence and queries. Lorna joined JMFG in 1999.

Mary Raphael - Portfolio Administrator.
Mary has given support to institutional and retail brokers since 1985, and joined JMFG in 2006. At Bell Potter, she managed the portfolio administration service and led development of their portfolio administration software. A former Sydneysider, Mary worked in the derivatives department with ANZ Securities Ltd and managed administration for the institutional dealers’ department. Mary joined JMFG in 2005.

Rosalind Wenzel - Receptionist.
Rosalind has been a personal assistant and an occupational health and safety consultant at Deloitte. She has manager training and is a personal trainer in her spare time. She previously worked at an engineering firm before joining JMFG in 2010.
